Balian tried not to think about it. “Well, I’ll introduce you to the bedroom now I think.” He led her upstairs, to a large noble room, there was a large bed in the middle and it wasn’t made. His chest tightened. He knelt down and buried his head in the sheets where his wife had last slept

“Okay,” she agreed as she nodded her head. Athelia followed him upstairs as her eyes were wondering around the house. She slowly stepped inside the bedroom, she felt wrong, she felt like she shouldn’t be there. Her heart broke as she saw Balian. She came closer to him and knelt beside him, “Balian, are you alright?” she asked as she wrapped her arm around his shoulder.
