I never meant to get us in this deep
I never meant for this to mean a thing
Oh, I wish you were the one
Wish you were the one that got awayMuse A is a relatively normal kid, nothing ever happens to them. That is, until they meet Muse B, a charismatic ne’er-do-well wrapped up in a world so different from Muse A’s, a world of music, of fun, of lawlessness. In no time at all they fall in love, but not the kind you read about in novels or see in films, the kind that destroys the soul. As time wears on Muse B gets Muse A hooked on drugs, living the not-so-glamorous life of a junkie, sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Things take a turn for the worse when Muse A becomes ill, although the situation looks hopeless, Muse B refuses to leave Muse A’s side. After the incident things start to turn sour for the pair. But Muse A can’t seem to untangle themselves from the world they’ve got so caught up in. The longer they stay together the more they wish they’d never met each other, yet despite both knowing the situation is not something either of them wants, neither of the two do anything about it. The arguments start out small, but quickly escalate into full blown fights. Each time it ends the same, a few drinks, a few joints, and then sleeping in the same bed again.
