Balian instructed Athelia to follow him silently. He pushed the door to his son’s room open. The child wasn’t asleep. And when the boy saw his father he jumped up. “Shhh.” Balian made and sat on the edge of the bed and hugged his son. “Philipe, c'est Athelia, une amie de moi.”
Athelia followed him and stepped inside his son’s room quietly. A smile crossed on her face when she saw him. “Hello,” she greeted him as she walked closer to him. “I can’t really speak French,” she pursed her lips and shrugged.
