Aiden tried to keep up with the girls’ questions, not able to focus on their waterfall of words. “Alright, well, this has been lovely — but I’m gonna hit the gym,” he politely excused himself, stepping back a bit, “Feel free to text me ladies,” he yelled when he walked away, more to Bambi than to them.
Bambi glanced back once and saw that he’s still talking to the girls. She shrugged her shoulders and walked a little bit faster. Her mind was wondering about him. She felt lucky that she didn’t have to throw herself at him just to get his attention. She heard footsteps behind her. She wanted it to be him who’s following her. She wanted to look back but a part of her scared that it’s not him.
