Enrolling in school wasn’t something Embry had planned on doing, it was one of the last things he had wanted to do actually, but he was sure the creature that had attacked him in the woods went here. This was the only high school in town and his attacker had looked no more than seventeen. Taking another look at the crowed halls, he noted how this place was much more crowded than the Reservation’s school he had gone to.
He sighed and pulled some textbooks out of his locker for his next few classes. The locker closed and he turned to go to the classroom, only to run into a girl, knocking her and his books to the ground.
❝Geez. I’m sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.❞ He mumbled as he bent to pick up the books.
Bambi was having a bad morning, her mother didn’t come home and Scott wouldn’t let her go to school with her. That was unusual. So she took the bus, she hated the bus. The students bullied her in there. But thank God the the 10 minutes in the bus was over. Bambi was taking her books from her locker and ready to go to her Sociology class.
Her books fell on the ground as she bumped into a guy. Bambi glanced at him, she didn’t know him, she has never seen his face before. Bambi blinked at took her books and said nothing to him for a moment. She stood up and looked down at him, “are you new?” she wasn’t that friendly that morning.
