Lee rubbed his eyes and looked up “no I haven’t. Do you want me to call him?”

“No, it’s okay” she said softly, remembering that her father told her that he’s going to extra work to pay Lee back for the surgery.

Lee took a deep breath. “I could stay for the night and sleep in the other bed in this room.”

Bambi moved a bit and gave him a space next to him, “come here,” she tapped the bed.
