Deer and Fairies

“Oh wow.  So you’re like fresh off the road, huh.  Why Mystic?  If you don’t mind me asking.”

   {It was a small town, out in the middle of the woods in Virginia.  Matt would never understand the attraction to this place.}

“Yes,”

[she should have gone with Alessandra, she hoped no one would call her deer in this down, or maybe they’d label her as the new deer in town. Wrong move, Bambi]

“I like quite place, I think I’ll be comfortable here, and yeah, I just transfered myself to Mystic Falls high school, and school starts next Monday and–”

[Bambi stopped, she thought it’s inappropriate to rant to a stranger that she barely knew]
