Lee sighed “Bambi, lay back, you need to rest.” He watched her silently for a moment, then said “I asked you to marry me. That was what I promised before you were brought to surgery.” He pulled out the little box “I’m not going to force it in you. You can do whatever you want. If you decide you don’t want to be with me again, I’ll take it in and I will understand. But …. I will promise to love you just like I did before.”

“No.. No, I’m alright” she smiled a little at him. She was a little bit surprised about what he told her about the promise. “What did I say?” she looked at the little box.
