He knew he should be strong for her but he just couldn’t. Lee tried hard to calm down. “so am I.”

“Dont—” she paused for a while, taking a deep breath, “don’t leave me” everything was a mess inside her head, she’s scared to lose herself, she’s scared that he’ll get tired of her and leave her.

“I will not leave you! And I will not let you die.” he said more calmly. This promise was holy to him

She looked up at him and planted a kiss on his cheek, “I love you, Lee” she smiled a little before burried her faced in his neck, closing her eyes.
